Baking instructions - cookie mix

What you
will need

230g (240ml) Butter

Large eggs

Large mixing bowl

Large spoon for mixing, or electric mixer with flat beater attachment

Baking tray, baking paper and cooling rack

Do not eat before baking!

Mix the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add the chocolate chips and nuts. Mix until combined.

Add the flour and mix until just combined. The batter will be very dry, looking like breadcrumbs.

Add the egg. Mix until just combined.

Do not overmix, or the cookies will lose their crumbliness!

Form balls of dough of about 1/2 cup (100g - 120g). Lightly press them to hold the dough together.

Preferably freeze overnight, or chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.  Bake from frozen.

Place the baking paper on the baking tray, and place the cookies on it, about 10 cm apart. Bake for 18 minutes at 180°C. Keep the oven door closed during baking or the cookies will fall flat.

After baking, the cookies need to cool down to hold their shape when picked up. Let cool on a cooling rack for at least 5 minutes.

Consume within 5 days. Follow the heating instructions before serving as per usual.

To freeze the raw dough, first form balls of dough and then store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months.
